Course Information
Our Courses
The Ohio State University Golf Club features two exceptional 18-hole championship courses: the world-renowned Scarlet Course and the challenging Gray Course. Both offer unique playing experiences in a beautifully maintained setting.
The Scarlet Course
Originally designed by the legendary Alister MacKenzie in 1938 and renovated by Ohio State's own Jack Nicklaus in 2005, the Scarlet Course is widely recognized as one of the top collegiate courses in the nation.
The course has hosted numerous NCAA Championships, U.S. Open qualifiers, and the PGA Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship. With its challenging layout, strategic bunkering, and undulating greens, the Scarlet Course provides a stern test of golf for players of all abilities.
The signature 13th hole, a par 3 that plays over water to a well-guarded green, has challenged some of the greatest names in golf.
The Gray Course
The Gray Course offers a more forgiving yet still challenging experience than its sister course. With wider fairways and less severe bunkering, it's an excellent option for players of all skill levels.
